Clafoutis is a dessert originating from the Limousin region of France. Clafoutis can be thought of us a crustless pie (though it boasts a much lighter texture and flavor than a traditional blueberry pie). The name clafoutis comes from the verb clavir meaning "to fill," hence the fruit-filled delectable dessert this is! [1]
